Srinagar, Nov 10 (KNO): Amid dry weather conditions, the winter chill has gripped Kashmir with most of the places recording the sub-zero temperature last night. As per the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Srinagar recorded the first sub-zero temperature night of the season at minus 0.1 degree on Sunday. The temperatures below freezing point were also recorded at Pahalgam, Qazigund, Kupwara and Gulmarg. In Pahalgam, the mercury settled at minus 3.2 degree Celsius while Gulmarg recorded a low of minus 0.2 degree. Qazigund recorded a low of minus 0.9 degree and Kupwara’s night temperature settled at minus 1.2 degree Celsius. Amidst the winter chill, the weather is expected to remain dry for the next few days. The weatherman has predicted that the night temperature may plummet further in coming days—(KNO)
